Dr. Byram Bridle, PhD

Co-Founder | Scientific Advisor

Dr. Byram Bridle is an Associate Professor of Viral Immunology and Cancer Biology in the Department of Pathobiology at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, and a co-founder of ImmunoCeutica Inc.

Dr. Bridle's research program combines two powerful approaches to fighting cancer: immunotherapy that directs the power of a patient's own immune system against tumours, and oncolytic virotherapy, which utilizes viruses that selectively replicate in and destroy cancerous cells. A key area of focus in his lab is developing a deeper understanding of the mechanisms behind virus-induced cytokine storms - insights that have broad implications for immune health and disease response.

His interest in how immunoceuticals such as Vitamin D influence the immune system and their potential to improve cancer outcomes aligns directly with the scientific philosophy at the heart of ImmunoCeutica's product development.

Dr. Bridle is a recipient of the Terry Fox Research Institute New Investigator Award and the Carl J. Norden Distinguished Teaching Award, reflecting both the rigour of his research contributions and his commitment to science education.

At ImmunoCeutica, Dr. Bridle brings his expertise in viral immunology, cancer biology, and immunoceutical research to support the company's evidence-based approach to immune health.
